Users will now be able to edit tagged people after posting an album.

Gone are the days when you could only post multiple photos and videos in old-school Instagram square-format as the photo-sharing app now allows you to upload albums in either landscape or portrait mode as well.

“Starting today, you can choose landscape and portrait formats when sharing multiple photos and videos in one post,” Instagram announced in a statement on Wednesday.

The Facebook-owned photo sharing app in February rolled out the long-awaited feature but users had to crop their snaps to fit the square format.

However, you still can’t create an album with landscape and square or portrait photos as you’ll have to stick with one format. Instagram insists posting all photos and videos in your post in the same format is necessary "to keep the experience smooth and consistent".

Instagram will now let you share 10 pictures and videos in one post

The app has also made some other improvements as users can now edit tagged people after posting an album. iOS users will have the option to save these as drafts.

The new features are available as part of the app's version 12 for iOS in Apple App Store and for Android on Google Play.
