Actor takes it too far with his film's promotion this time

Sidharth Malhotra has recently been seen promoting his new film, A Gentleman which was released on August, 25.

While all actors have the right to promote their films worldwide and as they please, it seems like the Student of the Year star may have gone too far this time.

Following the break-out of violence within Haryana, the actor took to twitter to wish everyone well and asked the people of the city to “stay safe.” However, his next sentence had him overstepping the line:

Unsurprisingly, his followers were not too impressed with his tweet and did not hold back with the bashing comments:

The actor seemed quite insensitive towards the situation. Who would have thought someone would be able to spin such a circumstance into a promotion of their film?
