Drug pusher gets four-year jail term

One kilogramme of heroin was seized from his possession

SARGODHA: A man has been sentenced to four years in prison and a fine of Rs20,000 in a narcotics case in Sargodha.

Additional District and Session Judge Javed Iqbal Ranjha announced the verdict after Ejaz Hussain pleaded guilty on Monday. Ejaz was arrested from Sargodha and one kilogramme of heroin was seized from his possession.

Hashish Recovered: Drug pusher arrested 

The police registered an FIR under sections of the Anti-Narcotics Act against him at the police station. The convict was shifted to district jail to carry out the sentence.
