K-P spending Rs2.4b on law enforcers

Home department says more than Rs1.9 billion will be spent on 40 ongoing projects

ISLAMABAD: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government is spending over Rs2.4 billion for strengthening civil law enforcing agencies in province.

According to Radio Pakistan, K-P Home Department said that more than Rs1.9 billion would be spent on 40 ongoing projects while over Rs430 million had been set aside for 19 new projects.

The projects include establishment a forensic laboratory and construction of offices for traffic wardens in Peshawar. Similarly, model police stations are being constructed across the province.
