The victim’s brother told the police that Shoaib allegedly shot Talib Hussain in the back at the latter’s house in Bahria Town Phase-IV.
“Shoaib came to my brother’s house at around 11 pm and asked my brother to respond to his proposal for the hand of my brother’s daughter in marriage,” Hussain’s brother maintained in his application.

Hussain tried to duck by turning away from the gun but was shot in the right side of his back. The bullet exited through the left side of his ribcage. Hussain died on the spot while Shoaib fled.
