Sajal Aly's relationship with Sridevi is 'stronger than the ones attached by blood'

It’s a known fact in Bollywood that Sridevi usually doesn’t always gel very well with her so-stars. However, rumour has it that she got so close to the Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai star during shooting that Sajal Aly became almost like a third daughter in the Kapoor family.

And the starlet reciprocates the love she received from the Kapoor clan from time to time.



Now that her Bollywood debut is done and dusted, the Gul-e-Rana star still hasn't forgotten the mother she found across the border.

Recently taking to Instagram, Sajal yet again shared a picture of Sridevi, with caption: "There are very few relationships in life that are stronger than the ones attached by blood. I have got one like that and that is with my Chandni."

This isn't the first time, however, Sajal sang praises for the Hawa Hawai diva. Previously, she shared a video that nearly brought us to tears as Sridevi sent an exclusive message to Sajal and Adnan Siddiqui at the premiere of Mom.



Sajal wrote, "This was actually a surprise to me yesterday. I felt like she was there throughout. I couldn't hold back myself from crying. I am out of words."

In another post, Sajal wrote: "A mom is always well aware of her children. Their habbits. Their moods. She is always watching. Closely. Silently. She's always noticing if your smile reaches your eyes. That's the beauty of her essence. ❤"

Earlier, a source very close to the film told Deccan Chronicle, “Normally, Sridevi doesn’t mix with her colleagues at all. Not now, not earlier, never. She is a complete professional on the sets. Even in real life, she hardly has any friends. But with Sajal, her equation was different.”



“Sajal lost her mother recently, whom she was very close to. It shattered the girl. Sridevi took Sajal under her wings after the tragedy, treated the girl like her own daughter. Afterwards, Sajal called Sridevi from her hometown in Pakistan and broke down saying the whole experience was too close to her to be treated as a film,” shared the source.
