Fire breaks out in Islamabad market

ISLAMABAD: A fire broke out in a make-shift market on Wednesday in the capital city near Peshawar Mor.

The fire erupted in the shop stalls in the market of Islamabad city. Rescue 1122 started operating immediately to douse the fire with seven fire-brigade trucks and a water bowser on the location as backup for the CDA Fire brigade.

Three fire fighters injured

Some 24 rescuers are involved in the operation to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire has yet to be ascertained.
