Khattak tells GDA to get its act together

CM directs to send revised draft, summary of proposed amendments forthwith

PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Saturday directed Galyat Development Authority (GDA) to finalise rules of business required for fast development of Galyat.

He was presiding over a high level meeting at Chief Minister’s Secretariat. MPA Sardar Idrees, Secretary Local Government, Strategic Support Unit Sahibzada Saeed and other officials concerned attended the meeting.

Khattak agrees to compensate families of deceased doctors

The meeting was briefed regarding rules of business of GDA and it was told that with respect to changes in GDA Act II amendments have been proposed while revised draft of the rules of business is ready. It was said that four types of rules including building control and tribunal rules have been framed. Participants were also informed that land has been identified for GDA Town.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister directed to send revised draft and summary of proposed amendments forthwith.
