Second-year student killed in PTI, PML-N clash in Khanewal

A second-year student was killed and two others were injured in a clash between activists of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Khanewal on Friday morning.
Police have identified the victim as Aalim Amir, a member of the PML-N students wing and booked 13 activists of the PTI's Insaf Students Federation.
The activists of the two parties students wings had also clashed near al-Hadees Chowk in Khanewal on August 14 at an Independence Day event, attacking each other with sticks and rods.
