LONDON:
Tottenham fans have received a boost after midfielder Aaron Lennon trained with his teammates, raising hopes he could play in today’s Champions League clash against Real Madrid. England winger Lennon withdrew from last week’s quarter-final first leg in the Spanish capital – where Spurs were hammered 4-0 by the Spanish giants – at the last minute due to illness. Lennon then missed Saturday’s 3-2 Premier League victory over Stoke with the same problem, but looked sprightly on Tuesday as he trained with the rest of the Spurs squad at their base at Chigwell, Essex.
