HYDERABAD: As the ongoing wave of alleged enforced disappearances continues, two more men were reportedly whisked away from Jamshoro and Dadu districts respectively on Thursday.

One of them, Comrade Soomar Khan Jamali, 60, was a resident of Abdullah Chawro village, Jamshoro. He was taken away from his house. According to his son, Rajab Ali Jamali, personnel in plainclothes knocked on his door and asked for Soomar. When he came out, they grabbed and forced him into a vehicle and left without explaining the reason for his detention.

"He is an old man. He is ill and recently underwent eye surgery," Rajab claimed of his father, who is a known supporter of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz - Bashir Qureshi group.
