Health: Two polio cases detected

One case was reported from Chaudhry Mujeebur Rehman village, near Naukot town.

MITHI: Despite several immunisation campaigns conducted by the government, two new cases of polio have been detected in Tharparkar.

One case was reported from Chaudhry Mujeebur Rehman village, near Naukot town.

A four-year-old boy, Ramesh Kumar, son of Teekam Bheel, cannot walk any more while six-year-old Jama, daughter of Jhaman Bheel, is also suffering from the virus.

Parents of both children maintained they have not been contacted by the health department yet.
