Activist among nine suspects held in Karachi raids
Muhajir Qaumi Movement - Haqiqi disassociates itself with arrested suspect

As many as nine suspects, including a worker of the Muhajir Qaumi Movement - Haqiqi (MQM-H), were arrested on Tuesday by the Rangers during separate raids and search operations in various parts of the city.
A worker of MQM-H was arrested by the Rangers during a raid in Saudabad area. He was identified as Babar alias TT. The paramilitary force spokesperson said that the suspect, affiliated with MQM-H, has been involved in various cases of crime, including extortion activities.

However, the MQM-H spokesperson refuted the claims of the suspect's association with the party, saying that Babar has never been associated with the party. "We condemn this act of establishing a link between criminals and the party," the party's spokesperson said.
Separately, four more suspects were arrested during raids conducted in Zaman Town and Madina Colony areas. They were identified as Danish Ahmed alias Soni, Arif alias Kala, Ibrar alias Zahid and Israrullah. The Rangers spokesperson said that the suspects were involved in various cases of robberies and were running a criminal gang.

Another suspect, who was identified as Mujahid Ali alias Maju, was arrested during a raid in Baldia Town. Meanwhile, three more suspects were arrested during a raid in Mobina Town. They included Jannat Gul, Habib Khan and Dilawar Khan. The suspects were involved in various cases of drug peddling.
The Rangers spokesperson also claimed to have recovered arms, ammunition and narcotics from their possession. The suspects were later handed over to police for further investigation.
