FJWU holds quiz competition to mark 'National Day' celebrations

RAWALPINDI: Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) on Monday organized a quiz competition in line with the directives issued by the Higher Education department of Punjab government to mark the Independence Day celebrations.

The University had announced week-long celebrations which resumed on August 3. The Department of Defence and Diplomatic Studies organised the quiz competition.

Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Dr Naheed Zia Khan was invited as the chief guest, while Dr Saima Kayyani was the guest of honour. Students of different universities, including University of Engineering Taxila (UET), Pir Mehr Ali Shah (PMAS) Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, and HITEC University participated in the competition. Different questions related to Pakistan Movement and historical events were asked from the participants.

Later, results were announced by a panel of judges.
