Man shot dead over enmity in Sargodha

Unidentified armed outlaws opened fire on him and fled the scene

SARGODHA: A young man was gunned down in the limits of Kotmomin police station on Monday.

Police said Wajid Rehan was present at an outhouse situated in Dera Rehan near Qaim Ranjha when unidentified armed outlaws opened fire on him and fled the scene. As a result, Wajid was killed on the spot. Police said the victim was killed over an old enmity. However, the police have registered a case against the suspects and started investigation.

Meanwhile, a man was killed in a road accident in Atta Shaheed and Jhal Chakian police limits. Police said Zafar, a resident of Chak 49, and his nephew Abdullah were riding a motorcycle on Lahore Road when a tractor trolley hit their two-wheeler.

As a result, Abdullah died on the spot while Zafar was injured. In another incident, a speeding truck hit a motorcyclist Aslam near Ludewala.
