He said Nawaz Sharif was the sovereign of democracy and his struggle for promoting and stabilising democratic traditions in the country was exceptional. Shehbaz said the former prime minister was a leader who always preferred the development and stability of the country.
Nawaz wants his brother, Shehbaz, to step into his shoes
“Nawaz Sharif lives in the hearts of over 200 million people,” he added. He said these people were standing with their vibrant leader as he gave them peace, prosperity and development.
In a statement, the chief minister said that Pakistan Muslim League-N had rooted out the nation and country from the vortex of issues that was why it was the country's largest and most popular political party. It had set records of public service as all the projects carried out under the supervision of Nawaz Sharif had served the interest of common man, he added.
“If it is a crime to serve the people and provide them with facilities, we will rehash this wrongdoing every so often. Our life and death is with the people of this country as our aim was to serve the masses and will continue to do so till we breathe our last,” he remarked.
He said that desperate political elements were attempting to spare their suffocating political career yet the individuals spreading falsehood and mayhem were bound to confront disappointment.

“Negative politics based on lies has become hard-bone for Niazi Sahib and not far was the day when this politics of reprimand and lie will be buried forever.”
The chief minister said the negative thinking of spreading the chaos by sit-in trend setters had disappointed the masses and these despaired elements that had sown hatred in the society should confront its outcome. He said fast development of the nation was the vision of Nawaz Sharif.
“We will advance with this vision as it is the destiny of adversaries to stray around on the streets that were developed during the era of Nawaz Sharif,” he added.
