BISE announces registration schedule

Students could register through their colleges or BISE website till September 15, 2017

LAHORE: The passing students in the matriculation annual examination 2017 can now apply for registration for the intermediate examination.

For this, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced the schedule to apply for the intermediate examination. According to the announcement made by the BISE Lahore, the board has started an online registration for the session 2017-19 for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC).

The registration for the session has been started for first year. A representative of BISE Lahore said that it had also informed all educational institutions offering the programme through mail.

According to the spokesperson, those students who have passed in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations could register themselves through their colleges or through the BISE website with single fee till September 15, 2017.

Those who would register after the deadline will have to pay a late fee and would be able to register themselves till October 5. According to the board, the requirements to apply for registration for the first year programme were NOC, equivalence certificate and in case of passing matriculation from any other board, the students would be required to submit photocopies of their result cards.

The BISE Lahore announced that students who passed the O Level examinations were eligible to register in the first year programme. For these students, they will have to submit equivalence certificate attested by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

Meanwhile, the board announced that the matriculation supplementary examinations would begin from September 7, 2017. The BISE Lahore announced that applicants would be able to submit forms and fees up till August 22. The board also announced that students would be able to apply for re-checking of their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examination 2017 until August 9.
