Independence Day Celebrations: CDA, IMC finalise plans

Artistes from all four provinces as well as Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir will showcase their talent

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) and Capital Development Authority (CDA) have finalised arrangements for Independence Day programmes. Islamabad Mayor and CDA Chairman Anser Aziz said the city government will try to engage all citizens of the capital during the festivities. IMC Executive Director General Sports and Culture Sanaullah Aman told the mayor that an Azadi Mela would be organised on August 14 at Arts and Craft Village. Artistes from all four provinces as well as Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir will showcase their talent in the event.
