Two LPG vessels turned away, shortage feared
LPG prices have been revised upwards for the third time in three days with increases of Rs5 for a kg, Rs60 on domestic cylinders and Rs240 on commercial cylinders. The total increase has now become Rs30 for a kg, Rs350 for domestic cylinders and Rs1,380 for commercial cylinders.

High demand and supply shortage had allowed the prices to skyrocket with imminent LPG crisis, Khokhar said. “Local LPG producers are fleecing people due to the shortage and it will continue if LPG is not imported,” Khokhar claimed, adding protests would be organised in the near future.
