Landmine blast: Baloch tribal elder’s son critically injured

The son of a local tribal elder injured in a landmine explosion.

QUETTA: The son of a local tribal elder was injured in a landmine explosion in the Patokh area of Buti tribal territory on Sunday.

According to official sources, Sarang Bugti, son of Nehalan Bugti, was on his way in his car when it hit a landmine placed along with road by unidentified people.

He suffered injuries while his vehicle was destroyed. Levies personnel and security forces rushed to the site and took him to a nearby hospital where his condition is stated to be critical.

Levies personnel have launched a probe into the incident.
