Raids were carried out as part of a campaign to check quality of medicines, hygienic conditions of hospitals

BAHAWALPUR: A team of health department on Monday raided different areas and sealed four medical stores for violation of rules and regulations in Bahawalpur.

Officials said a team, headed by Assistant Commissioner Sarmad Taimore, raided medical stores, private clinics and hospitals in Dera Masti, Khanqah Sharif, Musafir Khana and Goth Mehrab areas and sealed four medical stores for violating rules and regulations.

24 cases against medical store referred to drug court

The raids were carried out as part of a campaign to check quality of medicines, hygienic conditions at private clinics and hospitals and medical practice by quacks. Earlier, 55 medical stores and private clinics were sealed in the district during the campaign.
