MULTAN: The Punjab government has decided to take strict action against all unregistered colleges in the province.

According to Multan colleges director Prof Mohammad Hussain Azad, the owners of unregistered colleges have been directed to register their institutions within the month or the colleges will be closed.

“The government will seal all colleges without valid registration documents,” he said. Hussain disclosed that two teams had been formed to check and monitor different colleges and those found working without the relevant licence would be shut down.
