PEF to upgrade schools to higher secondary level

PEF will bear the expense of student’s tuition fee and will provide them free textbooks, says PEF MD

LAHORE: Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) will start intermediate level classes for the academic year 2017-18, and has invited applications from existing partner schools to apply for the programme.

PEF MD Tariq Mahmud announced that the foundation would start the intermediate level programme at its partner schools and they could apply to start the programme till July 31. He said that the applications received after the due date would be considered in the next academic year.

He said, “PEF will scrutinize the applicants on the basis of their infrastructure; faculty and school environment to allow them to start first year classes. PEF will bear the expense of student’s tuition fee and will provide them free textbooks”.

PEF management announced that after the declaration of matriculation results, admissions in the first year intermediate programme would be granted across Punjab in the selected partner schools.
