The COAS was given a detailed briefing on the industry production and future projects in the pipeline.

“[The] HIT has a history of contributions to strengthen conventional defence capability of the country,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) quoted Gen Bajwa as saying. “No compromise shall be made towards this end irrespective of the constraints."

The army chief expressed satisfaction over the industry’s efficiency, and directed its chairman to expedite the ongoing projects such that they are completed in time.

He assured the HIT of Pakistan Army's complete support in this regard.
