Health dept for enhancing security at hospitals

LAHORE: Secretary specialised and Healthcare Medical Education, Najam Ahmed Shah has disclosed that the health department has prepared the summary for hospitals’ security and now it is subject to approval from the provincial government.



He said this while presiding over a meeting at a local hotel on Tuesday. To get consultancy over legal matters for the summary, the department hired senior consultants.



He said in order to provide proper facilities to people of Punjab, the department has already started networking system of all cardiology units while the government has also planned to expend Rs5 billion for hepatitis patients.
