In Anticipation: SCCI to hold Chinese language workshops

Initiative is aimed at enabling the business community of the province to better engage Chinese investors

PESHAWAR: Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Haji Muhammad Afzal Monday announced that his organisation will conduct Chinese-language seminars and workshops for K-P’s business community.

The seminars and workshops will be conducted with the cooperation of City University of Peshawar at Sarhad chamber, according to a press release issued by the SCCI.

The initiative is aimed at enabling the business community of the province to better engage Chinese investors coming in droves due to the formalisation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the SCCI president said.

“Very soon interaction between businessmen of both countries will increase and a common tongue will assist in business dealings,” he said.
