Education reforms: O-Level classes being introduced in DPS    

Female teachers would be arranged for teaching O-Level classes

BHAKKAR: A well-coordinated plan has been devised to commence O-Level classes in District Public School (DPS) from August 15.

The classes will be held in the new campus of DPS. This was disclosed by Deputy Commissioner Syed Bilal Haider while addressing a consultative seminar which was held at Government Model High School in Bhakkar on Sunday.

Parents and students of DPS, ADCG Karim Bakhsh, DPS Principal Zafar Muhammad and officers of education department attended the event.

'No priority for sport, education, health'

On the occasion, the deputy commissioner had detailed discussions with the parents in connection with introducing O-Level classes.

He said under an extensive planning to provide high academic standards, the DPS would be made the centre of excellence and start of O-Level classes from next month was one of the major priorities in this regard.

He added female teachers would be arranged for teaching O-Level classes.
