ABBOTTABAD:
A 70-year old woman Hassan Jan was brutally killed when her horse strayed into the tobacco field of Khaista Khan and damaged some crops. Jan’s son and Khan started exchanging harsh words and a scuffle ensued. In the meantime, Jan rushed to the scene to settle the issue when Ashraf son of Khaista Khan struck and shoved her into the field where she lost consciousness. The family shifted her to a hospital where Jan succumbed to her injuries. Khan tried to make a quick getaway from the scene but the police arrested him and registered a murder case against him.
