PTDC introducing Tourist Information Centres

Tourists can also avail PTDC-arranged transportation facilities to far-flung areas

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is setting up new tourist information centers (TICs) at various airports in the country.

Talking to APP, PTDC Managing Director Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor Khan said that both international and domestic tourists will be provided accommodation and transportation booking facilities upon arrival at several airports of the country.

He also said that the staff at TICs will have latest information about nearest hotels, transportation, details on events, ticket reservations and guidebooks for visitors in transit.

Tourists can also avail PTDC-arranged transportation facilities to far-flung areas including the scenic and hugely popular northern areas. TICs will be furnished with modern facilities, Khan said.
