Assault Charge: District chief of US-based NGO arrested

Police arrests the district head of an American NGO.

QUETTA: Police on Thursday arrested the district head of an American non-governmental organisation (NGO), Head Links, on charges of allegedly assaulting a local district health officer (DHO), official sources said.

SHO Gul Mohammad informed APP that the district head of the US based NGO had been arrested on an FIR lodged by Chaman’s DHO Dr Fareed Ahmed Sumalani, while adding that the suspect was currently being interrogated.
