Three FC officials martyred in Kurram IED blasts
TTP spokesperson claims responsibility for the attacks
At least three Frontier Corps (FC) officials were martyred and four others injured as three IED explosions in Tegha area of Lower Kurram on Monday.
According to sources in the FC, the first blast occurred when the personnel of Kurram Militia were bringing water from a spring. As soon as the security forces reached the blast site to help in the rescue operation, two more IED blasts hit the area.
The security officials later cordoned the area and started a search operation, while all injured were shifted to nearby hospitals.
Political administration in the agency said explosives were hidden in the way of the FC convoy.
