Jamshoro district neighbours Hyderabad, which is the fastest growing city in Sindh after Karachi, and where the horizontal growth of buildings is now gradually taking over vertical growth due to lack of land. Jamshoro, located on right bank of the Indus River, also houses the Kotri and Nooriabad industrial zones besides three public sector universities with an enrolment of over 30,000 students.
The MNA said he has no objection to giving away the land that is not in use of the people for living and livelihood to the builder. According to him, he came to know about the alleged plan to sell the land when the matter was brought up during a meeting of the district council Jamshoro.
