A day before the report on the Sharif family's alleged offshore assets will be submitted to the top court, the prime minister's daughter Maryam Nawaz has apparently challenged her political rivals to a duel.

"Woh mard nahi jo dar jaye ....." (roughly translated 'A man who fears is not a man) tweeted the first daughter and challenged her political rivals, "If you have turned it into a political battle, no one can fight it better than PMLN."

The tweets come a day after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders came out all guns blazing ahead of the report prepared by a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed by the apex court.

On Saturday, Federal Ministers Khawaja Asif, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Ahsan Iqbal and others made it clear they would not accept the report if the former Qatari Prime Minister was not made part of the investigation.

Our hands are clean. We have nothing to fear, says Premier Nawaz

The prince's letter were produced in the Supreme Court last year as an evidence of the money trail of the properties abroad.

According to them, the team should have travelled to Doha to include his remarks. The leaders also called for making all audio and video recording of the JIT's questioning public.

The premier's daughter's challenge sparked a flood of reactions.
