Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Sticking with something you believe in takes courage. However, recognising that certain once-prized plans or commitments aren’t doing well, which could mean admitting they must go, will be even more challenging. For now, simply consider the possibility you’ll be saying goodbye to them. Soon, the next step will be crystal clear.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

As a practical earth sign, setting goals and figuring out ways to achieve them comes naturally to you. Yet, certain arrangements just aren’t as rewarding as they once were. That’s because they’ve lost their lustre, that is, they’re no longer exciting. Try reorganising these, and including a new challenge or two.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

With both your ruler Mercury and Venus having moved into new positions this week, your perspective and the actual situations you’re dealing with are bound to change. Some may have already. What may be most important is the recognition it’s time to rethink certain longstanding, and probably very reassuring, arrangements.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

Although the Full Moon isn’t until Sunday, the odds are good you’re already well aware of the increasing sensitivity it triggers. What’s more, because it accents close alliances, you won’t be alone in struggling with these matters. These can be resolved, but you must talk them over, and the sooner the better.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

If ever there was a time to speak from the heart, it’s now. While your feelings run deep and, when you commit, it’s with your deep convictions, not everybody knows where you stand. Tell them, and right away, before what are currently no more than minor misunderstandings turn into major difficulties.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Being an earth sign, your priority is tending to practical matters and obligations. After those are dealt with, and if you’ve time, you’ll think about your own needs and, at the moment, your mood. Yet with Sunday’s Full Moon heightening your feelings, what you learn could result in profound insights.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

Every once in a while events or, perhaps, your own mood triggers what’s best described as a ‘sentimental storm’. These intense feelings seem to appear from nowhere, and demand all your attention. Unsettling as these are, delve into them. You’ll soon realise they’re calling your attention to plans or passions you’ve been neglecting.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Only now are you beginning to recognise that the clashes triggered by last Sunday’s run in between the volatile Mars and your ruler Pluto weren’t about practical issues, although those needed to be dealt with. They were about you resisting changes that are essential yet are a source of substantial concern.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

Currently, certain individuals seem to be so relentlessly negative there’s no point in even discussing existing issues or future plans. Yet their concerns are founded on genuine problems. The trick is to listen to what’s being said, then withdraw and redefine the matters in question in terms you can deal with.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

For months you’ve known you’d have to rethink certain longstanding arrangements, rid yourself of others and embrace new plans. This weekend’s Capricorn Full Moon will turn this process of review into action, triggering discussions about where work is needed, what must go and what’s next. After that, things will begin moving swiftly.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

Sooner or later you’ll have to talk over minor misunderstandings, ideally before they blossom into more major issues. Tempting as it is to tackle them now, so they’ll be out of the way, you’d regret it. Clear cut as both your feelings and priorities are, the individual in question needs time for reflection.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Saying the single word ‘no’, and meaning it, is hugely challenging for you. Yet over the coming days you’ll need to do exactly that, and in a number of situations. Tempting as it is to take a more gentle approach, you’ll only confuse matters. The more forthright you are, the better.
