PIA fittingly responds to viral picture of air hostess

KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines often receives flak through social media over their service. However, recently an image of one of their air hostess went viral and Twitter's response was mixed.

The tweet caught the attention of netizens and they responded with disappointment over disgracing the flight crew.

Rauf Ahmed | 7 years ago | Reply Before criticising one should have insight. It's very common to see the unruly and rowdy passengers misbehaving with these ladies. They assume ,since they have paid money to take a ride in plane the staff is at their call as slaves. It's a real tragedy . I have witnessed this at many occasions and these poor ladies just keep a smile on their face to keep things calm. Yes there are some crew who do miss behave but on the general most of them are quite friendly. The crew is helpless as what ever limited facilities is provided on planes the try their best to please the passengers . Its not the crew fault ,it's management blunders. And judging them with age is really disgusting . It means the older /aged passengers also be not allowed to board the plane . Please don't look down people bcoz of age . One dayv we all be same.

Shah S | 7 years ago | Reply Instead of being critical and sarcastic those who comment with negative views should know that these crew members have worked almost all their life serving you critics to your pleasure; PIA should and other Hospitality industry members and establishments should avail services of these much experienced members for training their hospitality staff who can learn a few things which they may encounter (such as some of the critics here) during their service when the trainees complete their learning process and join duty for service;

Hamdani | 7 years ago | Reply All of us who have travelled especially in International Flights, have witnessed first hand the wrath of the Pakistani passengers that have been let loose on the poor aging plane and crew. The plane is turned into a mess.. food everywhere on the floor.. torn newspapers.. pushing.. shouting.. repeated requests for juice and coke.. littering like a junk yard.. and other unexplainable stuff.. I do not blame her for the expression.. and demenour.. a lot more SHO like enforcement and a lathi is needed to keep the travellers on a leash..

ather | 7 years ago | Reply pia staff hired in the 70s 80s still has to be serving hostess, due to curruption, ill management, most of the staff in the 80s were permenent which means they are still on the job, they can not be transfered to other areas due to ill experince lack of knowledge
