Priyanka Chopra is an international icon and is doing wonders worldwide!

From her very own drama series Quantico to her debut in Hollywood, the In My City crooner is riding high because of all the love and appreciation she has received globally.

While the former Miss World was born in India, she completed her education in the United States. So, it is only fair she considers the US her second home.

Priyanka recently took to Twitter to wish Happy 4th of July or American Independence Day to her fans and followers - also, calling it her second home and boy we wish she hadn't.

The Baywatch star posted, "Happy Independence Day America..my second home.. #4thOfJuly2017 #RedWhiteBlue"

What may seem like a harmless post, created mixed feelings for her fans back in India. Soon after the tweet, Twitter was abuzz and the Bajirao Mastani star became the latest victim of trolling, with some suggesting Priyanka to might as well make US her first home.

People should be proud of her extraordinary talents and should support her, even when they think she has committed a mistake, by simply ignoring that mistake, because she is not a political person after all. I like her and wish Priyanka absolute happiness and success. Actually judgmental comments anywhere, at times are hurting and such statements quiets inner voices that need ways to be expressed and then what we see in the world is just materialism, no originating of ideas that fill the world with color, we see no original, comforting music and no actual appreciation for art. We often ignore bad sides and habits, in respect of people we like or love most, why is that ? this is because we want that person to be comfortable in life. Life is not an easy journey for anybody and people become lonely and sensitive and then suffers, so be optimistic and see the beautiful side of life, because it will not be the same forever.

Anywhere i feel loved an welcomed is a second home to me.This means i have friends,may be family, business bonds,etc etc,,, somewhere in the world or even within my country where i feel i can relate to and feel loved and welcomed.This does not by anyway affect my feeling to my home country. it is not a crime that you wander around the world and have many friends and homes over there, and you will always come back to your home country with even more love and appreciation..never mind the life conditions ,the bond with the sand of your country never vanishes away.
