
The training was arranged by Road Safety Unit of CTPL. The unit visited Lorry Adda, Niazi Adda, Sharaqpura Adda, Lower Mall, Railway Station Rickshaw Stand, Naulakha Taxi Stand, Jutt Transport Association Lorry Ada, Superior College Gulberg and University of Lahore in Raiwind.
For Punjab police training, a state-of-the-art facility
According to Chief Traffic Officer SSP Rai Ijaz Ahmad, the structure of the Road Safety Unit was expanded to all 34 sectors of the metropolis to focus more on traffic laws. Besides distributing thousands of pamphlets, the unit organized awareness camps and delivered over 500 lectures in government, semi-government and private sector educational institutes throughout the city.

They also awarded traffic licences to many students and commercial drivers during the training. CTPL would establish four driving schools as a part of their campaign. Apart from the only driving school at traffic police lines Thokar Niaz Baig, additional schools would be established in the four zones to cover the whole city.
