The ICC said it would not be long before day-night test cricket happens in Australia or India.
The vision of cricket’s future was revealed by outgoing ICC president David Morgan, who said administrators in Australia are eager to embrace the new way of doing things.
Tests in England are routinely sold out but elsewhere, the five day format is struggling. Some think introducing day/night cricket would attract spectators after they finish work.
The only concern is whether the white ball used in flood light cricket would survive the wear and tear of a five day match.
