Nepalese envoy lauds Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace and stability

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai said on Wednesday that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would bring economic stability in the entire region.

He said this during a meeting with Nepalese Ambassador Sewa Lamsal Adhikari at the Governor House on Wednesday.

Achakzai says K-P belongs to Afghans

“The landmark trade deal between China and Pakistan will help develop trade route with Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The entire region should avail benefits from the multi- billion dollar project,” Achakzai said.

Regarding the relations between the two countries, Achakzai said Pakistan and Nepal had had prolong trade relations which “now need to be expanded for the development of both the countries”.

He added: “Pakistan has a geographical importance in the region and there are vast opportunities for investment.”

Is CPEC also a game changer for Balochistan?

The ambassador lauded Pakistan’s efforts to bring peace and stability in the region and said, “Nepal has always attempted to make conducive relations with Pakistan and we respect Pakistan’s scarifies for peace and stability in the region.”

She congratulated the Balochistan governor for Pakistan’s remarkable victory in the ICC Champions Trophy against India.
