Gone Too Young: Boy bludgeoned to death in Shahdara

LAHORE: A man allegedly bludgeoned an eight-year-old boy to death in Meherpura locality within the jurisdiction of Shahdara police on Wednesday. Police said Haider Ali, son of Meher Jameel, was playing in Tokriyan Wala Bazaar when the suspect, Shahbaz alias Bajo, hit him with a brick. As a result, the child suffered critical wounds and died on the spot. City Division SP Adil Memon said that they arrested the suspect, who is differently-abled.
