War on terror: Iranian consul general commends police

IGP commends the role of K-P police during the ongoing war on terror.

PESHAWAR: In an appreciation letter addressed to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) IGP Fiaz Ahmad Khan Toru, Acting Consul General of the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Peshawar Hassan Golivand Darishvand has commended the role of K-P police during the ongoing war on terror.

He also expressed his deepest sympathies with the families of officials who have sacrificed their lives and wished the quick recovery of those injured. The Iranian envoy expressed hope that the IG and his team would continue working with the same spirit to ensure protection of life and property of the province’s citizens.
