Spirit of Math comes to Pakistan

Spirit of Math, a Canadian-based school system, has partnered with Kids Kampus Johar Town to offer Math classes to high performing students.

The basic aim of this initiative is to arm students with the power of critical thinking and logical reasoning, which will help them learn and grow in an informative, healthy environment.

Kids Kampus, a pre-school network, will offer Spirit of Math classes starting from the last week of August.

Govt focusing on improving health, education sectors in FATA

Classes will take place once a week and the programme will run for 39 weeks altogether.

While talking about the programme, Spirit of Math Academic Director Kirsti Langen said she was excited to be in Pakistan and help take students from the top of their classes to the top of the nation.

She said, by updating the syllabi, training teachers and expanding a series of Math workbooks, the programme is changing the course of mainstream Mathematics taught in Pakistan.
