15kg heroin seized from PIA flight at Karachi airport

Last month, the ANF had an Afghan national at the same airport after heroin-filled capsules were found in his stomach. When the authorities scanned Gul Rehman Umerzai, they found the capsules in his gut. Umerzai was leaving for Italy.

ANF officials took him to a hospital to retrieve the capsules. The arrested man was a resident of the Afghan refugee camp in Shabqadar, Matta.
