LCWU wants ideal working conditions  

The finance department was asked to release research grants for scholars immediately.

Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) will improve terms of reference (TORs) for its faculty and staff to provide a better working environment.

The recommendations would be submitted for approval to the syndicate, said LCWU Vice Chancellor Dr Uzma Qureshi. Dr Uzma was addressing a reception kept in her honour and arranged by faculty and staff.

The event was held at a local hotel and was attended by the registrar, controller of Examinations, HoDs and officers.

LCWU all set to become a ‘smart university’

She said an excellent working environment was the key to better performance in every institution. The VC assured her staff would provide all possible incentives.

Her vision was to achieve the top ranking amongst all national universities. She asked the finance department to release research grants for scholars immediately.
