Sindh tournament begins today

The 16-day tournament will see 32 contenders vie for the trophy.

The DG Rangers Sindh Football Tournament kicks off today to scout for young football talent in Karachi.

The 16-day tournament will see 32 contenders vie for the trophy with two matches being played on knockout basis every day of the tournament.

The campaign, an initiative of the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) District South Football Association, will hunt for talent in Lyari and other areas from the metropolis.

According to the tournament organisers, the initiative has been taken to promote football activities in the country as it lags behind other nations.

The tournament will conclude on April 22.
