Strategy games have dominated most of our childhood with Age of Empires being at the forefront. While Microsoft released an HD version of the game in 1999, it is now following up with a 4K version, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition.

The remaster will not only be in 4k but also boast a host of new changes.

"We created Age of Empires: Definitive Edition as an homage to the fans of the series and to PC gamers everywhere. Fully remastered with beautifully enhanced graphics that support up to 4K resolution, entirely re-orchestrated soundtrack, brand-new narrative, major gameplay improvements, Xbox Live support for multiplayer, and achievements," according to a statement.
