Brutal Act: Man stabs wife to death in Multan

The reason of murder had not been investigated yet

MULTAN: A man stabbed his 30-year-old wife to death late Sunday night in the limits of District Dera Ghalzi Khan police. According to police, Falak Sher, 40, was a resident of Basti Shaikhan. He came home when his wife was sleeping and attacked her with a sharp knife. The victim, Khurseedan Bibi, died on spot and the suspect fled away, said police. Police told The Express Tribune that the body had been handed over to the family after post-mortem and further details would be revealed after the report comes out. Police told that the case had been registered at city police station and teams had been dispatched to arrest the suspect. The reason of murder had not been investigated yet. However, the area residents said that there were some differences between the couple on the issue of second marriage of Falak Sher.
