New development projects for Faisalabad approved

All development schemes proposed by the parliamentarian belong to Faisalabad had been included in the budget

FAISALABAD:  

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said the Punjab government has presented the biggest historical budget for the year 2017-18 which reflected the speedy and sustainable development in different sectors.

He expressed these views while addressing the PML-N workers and members of local bodies. He said the huge funds had been earmarked for education, health infrastructure development.

He said all development schemes proposed by the parliamentarian belong to Faisalabad had been included in the budget besides allocation of Rs3.5 billion for the mega development projects including under pass at Kashmir bridge canal road and under pass New Novality Bridge at Samundri road.

Sana said the Punjab government had already completed various mega projects in Faisalabad at a cost of Rs40 billion including Canal Express Way, Jhal Chowk Underpass, Children Hospital and Water Supply Project.
