Five Pakistanis, including children held in India's Rajasthan

'They entered area where prior permission necessary from government' said Indian police officer Karan Singh

The Rajasthani police, on Monday, arrested five Pakistani nationals, at the Barmer border close to the Lakhasar village in Rajasthan, NDTV reported.

The five, two men, one woman and two children, were arrested despite having valid travel documents. "As they entered an area where prior permission is necessary from the government, we have detained them," news agency IANS quoted a Indian police officer, Karan Singh, as saying.

Previously, three Pakistani nationals were detained by Bengaluru police after allegedly failing to provide required documents for their stay in India.

 

“All four have been charged under Sections of Foreigners’ Act, Passport Act, conspiracy and creation of false documents and misrepresentation,” said Bengaluru police commissioner Praveed Sood.

On May 19, Islamabad police arrested an Indian national for failing to produce any travel or visa documents.
