Christians celebrate Pentecost festival

LAHORE: The Christian community celebrated The Feast of Pentecost with fervour across the province on Sunday. On the occasion special services were offered in churches.

The main service in this regard was held at Cathedral Church, Hall Road in the provincial capital. Special prayers were offered for peace and prosperity in the country.



The day is celebrated on the 50th day after Easter every year. The holy day is also called “White Sunday”. Pentecost can also refer to the entire 50 days of Easter through Pentecost.
